After some sniffing about on football forums, some transfer rumours involving Gateshead came to light.

On the Chester City Fan Forums, two City players are rumoured to be on their way to the Heed.

Paul Butler the former Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanders defender along with Former Wigan Athletic and Stockport County Midfielder Tony Dinning.

Here is the forum and the posted rumour:

Both players have a vast experience at every level of the pro game, but find themselves on the fringe of the first team at Chester City.

Could this just be hear' say and rumour or could the Tynesiders about to add strength to the current squad???
