Baptist stays a Collier

The artist formerly known as Baptiste will stay at Ashington for the rest of the season. The young left winger has proven a hit up the coast at Ashington, having played every game since joining on loan. Baptist hit his first goal of the season at Horden last week as Ashington ran out 4-2 winners.

After spending the first half of the season out injured, the deal should help to develop him as a player with a view to being part of our Reserve setup next season and pushing on for a first team place.

If you're not travelling down to Histon on Saturday, then why not head along to Darlington Road where Baptist and Ashington will be taking on West Auckland Town in the Northern League.
