Bermuda shorts?

Gateshead will be offering a trial to a player with 9 caps at International level.

Tyrell Burgess the Bermudan winger will be trying to show his worth to Ian Bogie and his coaching staff in the weeks that follow July 1st.

Burgess had been with North American side Vancouver Whitecaps (1 divion below the MLS), he made 25 appearances for them scoring 2 goals. In week 17 of their season he the won player of the week award, he only lasted one season with the whitecaps after falling out of the managers plans. Since leaving Vancouver Burgess has been on trial at Rochester Rhinos in the US.

The Bermudan International is making his own way over to England to try and earn a full time contract at the Heed, with his farther footing the bill for his travelling costs. With such endeavour to travel the globe to impress Gateshead, hopefully he will do just that.
