Assistant Manager Adam Sadler departs for Plymouth Argyle

Newly appointed Assistant Manager Adam Sadler has left the club having been offered a coaching position at League 1 Plymouth by Argyle Manager Peter Reid and Assistant John Carver.

Ian Bogie told the Evening Chronicle that he's close to appointing a replacement who's currently at a Football League Club, and hopes to have him in place for the weekend friendly at Workington.

Our first friendly will take place against Middlesbrough at their Hurworth training complex on Thursday afternoon, before heading over the Pennines to Cumbria on Saturday. Trialists Josh Mimms (England C Goalkeeper), defender Shaun Kelly, midfielder Michael Carr, Bermudan winger Tyrell Burgess and ex-Sunderland Reserve left-back David Brown will all be featuring as they look to secure a deal with the Tynesiders. Manager Ian Bogie is looking to add four or five players to the squad before the big kick-off.

Note: Thursdays friendly against Middlesbrough is being held behind closed doors at Fort Knox, where fans of either club will not be allowed in.
