Gateshead finally lifted the Durham Challenge Cup, after over coming neighbours Dunston 2-0 at The Hetton Centre on a sunny Good Friday. An impressive young side mainly made up of College players was captained by Paul Farman who lifted the cup. First team squad members James Marwood and Jonny Allan hit the only goals of the match either side of half time.
