Over the past year on name keeps popping up again and again, Craig Nelthorpe!

The Doncaster Rovers wingers has been the target for several full time clubs as well over the past year, with him going on loan to both Darlington and Halifax last term.

Its said Doncaster Rovers are not keen on loaning Craig to the a Conf north team and would prefer he gets more first team league experience.
Craig or Nelly as he became nicknamed by the Heed Army, is a exciting player who ply’s his talents down the left wing for anyone who didn’t see him during his loan spell in the 06/07 season.

It was reported in the local press that Gateshead had enquired about taking Nelly on loan again this season, also it was suggested that Nelly was keen on a return to the Tynesiders.
