In recent weeks Gateshead FC have stated that the squad could still do with strength in a few area’s in the local press.
Who’s out there to come to come to the Tynesiders and improve the team?
One or two plays catch the eye if you look around hard enough, Neale McDermott is a Midfielder currently without a team after being released from league on side Carlisle United.
Neale, son former Newcastle United and Liverpool legend has played for Swindon Town and Darlington and has been on the books at Fulham and Newcastle.
Reports have said that Neale has been training with Mike Newell’s Grimsby Town with the view to a permanent move, definitely a player to keep an eye on.
Former Workington Left back Joe Kendrick who is currently plying his trade in Ireland for Drogheda Utd, maybe worth a punt with the Irish season coming to and end.
Drogheda Utd are suffering with problems away from the pitch, this maybe the time to make a move for Kendrick.
A team mate of Kendrick’s, a Tyneside boy Guy Bates would also be a useful addition to the Heed team to add to our already strong strike force.
One things is for Sure Ian Bogie and Chairman Graham Wood (pictured below) will only bring in the right players suitable for GFC and wont be rushed.
