Gateshead enter back on the cup trail on Saturday as they entertain Conf North high flyers Harrogate in the FA Trophy.

Harrogate Town Currently sit 3rd in the Conf North table and will be tough opposition for the Tynesiders, this will be Harrogate’s second visit to Tyneside this season having beat Ian Bogie’s men 3-1 earlier in the season in the league.

Saturdays match will be Craig Nelthorpe’s last game as his loan spell ends after this game, time will tell if he is to return to the Heed on another loan spell this season. Craig has immense talent and has a bright future in the game, yet his second stint at the club has not seen him in the form of his previous loan spell.

Hopefully this wont be the last time we see Nelly in a Heed shirt.

New signing Dan Smith could feature having signed on Wednesday night, Dan is a left sided defender and has played for Sunderland and Aberdeen in both English and Scottish Premier leagues.

Former Sunderland Darren Holloway looks set to start again from the bench and get another 15 to 20 minutes under his belt as he searches for match fitness.

Lee Novak will be out to score his 10th goal in 5 games Against Harrogate, while Graeme Armstrong will be looking to add to his 12 goals this term.

Hopefully Harrogate will bring their cheerleaders to warm the cockles on a cold November's afternoon
