Ian Bogie’s men give him a result to be proud of on Saturday with a good 4-1 win over Merseyside outfit Burscough.
Man of the moment Lee Novak grabbed Gateshead first goal beating the Burscough offside trap latching onto a perfect ball from Strike partner Graeme Armstrong to calmly place the ball past the Burscough keeper, to the delight of the Heed Army faithful.
Alex Francis continued to impress in the Gateshead midfield giving a solid performance thoughout and grabbing Gateshead second goal straight after half time. Jamie Harwood also found the net, while Graeme “Goal Machine” Armstrong added his 12th goal of the season in stoppage time.
