Ian Bogie - Manager
As a player Ian Played for Port vale and Millwall to name but a few, but he started at Newcastle United in the 80's. His Impact as Gateshead manager has been immense, gaining two successive promotions from UniBond to Conf North, Conf North to Conference Premier. Former director Hartlepool Utd Youth system, also former Manger of Both Newcastle Blue Star and West Allotment Celric. Terry Mitchell - Assistant Manager

Goalkeepers
1. Tim Deasy
Former Barrow goal keeper who arrived in August 2010 after his summer release from the Cumbrian club, whilst at Barrow Deasy played at the Stadium of Light in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, where sunderland manager Steve Bruce signled out Deasy after a fantastic preformance.
13. Paul Farman
Young Paul arrived at Gateshead in the summer 2009, from a local nearly unheard of Conference North side called Blythe Scottish Spartans. He has made an instant impression on the Heed Army becoming Ian Bogie's first choice between the sticks.
Defenders
2. Craig Baxter - Right Back
Craig was a product of Newcastle United’s Youth Academy, he has become a firm fan Favourite always giving 100% and having a cross on him better than Beckham (on his day).
5. James Curtis - Centre Half
Some people say Ginger, some say Red Head or even Strawberry Blonde! But what is safe to say, he’s a rock in the Gateshead defence. James is in his 6th season at the Heed.
15. Carl Jones - Centre Half
Jones has been a reliable player ever since he joined from York City 2007. He's had an injury hit season and is on the fringes. Spent a successfull loan period with us during the second half of last season. Signed a permanent deal from Mansfield Town. Much sought after defender following his release by Hartlepool United. Formerly a Manchester United Youth and Sunderland player, he brings vast experience and leadership to the Tynsiders back line. A young left back bidding to make a name for himself, he joined from local big boys underland where he had been a regular in the reserves. Verteran defender who joined from Conf North side Stalybridge Celtic, previously played for Luton Town and darlington to name but a few. 3. Paul Heckingbottom - Left Back

Midfielders
4. Kris Gate - Centre Midfield
Like Baxter, Kris Gate came though the ranks at Newcastle United, ever since he arrived at Gateshead he has been a midfield maestro. As Captain he has excelled and is the first name on the team sheet!
7. Martin Brittain - Right Winger
Martin is recovering from a broken leg he picked up during the infamous game with Hayes and Yeading.
8. Phil Turnbull - Centre Midfield
Phillip, a former Hartlepool and York City player is in his second full season with the Heed. A footballing central midfielder, who on his day can make the side tick.
14. Ashley Winn - Centre Midfield
A full of energy player who covers every blade of grass durying 90 minutes, joined from Southport.
16. Steven Baptist - Left Winger
A Lighting quick hot prospect, sadly a broken ankle in pre-season has yet to see him feature this campaign. Nelly comes back to Gateshead for a third spell, having featured on-loan twice. Ex-NUFC Reserve James, followed former Assistant Manager Adam Sadler from Northumbria University having also featured for Blyth. Josh joins Gateshead having won the FA Vase with Whitley Bay. Forwards
23. Brian Wake
Brian signed from Greenock Morton in the January 2010 transfer window, making an instant impact including an unforgettable winning double at Mansfield in the pay what you want game. Having played once on-loan last season, Shaw rejoins the Tynesiders after securing his release from Mansfield Town. He created a deadly partnership with Daryl Clare at Burton Albion. Jonny joins the Tynesiders from Northwich Victoria where he had become a cult hero. Starting out at Carlisle United, he moved onto Northwich where he stared for a number of years before leaving following the Vics removal from the Conference North. Young striker who made a name for himself in the Northern League scoring 44 goals in 49 appearances for relegated Chester-le-Street Town.
